This $5M follow-on contract shows how essential reliable component supply chains are becoming for lunar programs. Comtech's 50-year track record in microelectronics matters way more than people realize, especially when the components are heading to environments where you cant exactly send a repair crew. The projection of the space industry hitting $1.8T by 2035 sounds agressive but makes sense when I think about the sheer complexity of supply chain coordination needed for these missions.
