Shockwave Launch Vehicle Focus of AFWERX Contract
The US Space Systems Command has awarded an AFWERX contract to Innovative Rocket Technologies (iRocket) to further develop its highly reusable rocket engine for the Shockwave launch vehicle. The motor will transform how launch vehicles are powered with clean, sustainable propellant and 24-hour turnaround launch cycles, according to the company.
