Nuclear Thermal Engine for Future Mars Missions to be Tested
NASA and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced Tuesday a collaboration to demonstrate a nuclear thermal engine in space, an enabling capability for NASA crewed missions to Mars.
