The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today announced the SIA Board of Directors has elected the following persons as executive committee officers for 2023: Jennifer Warren of Lockheed Martin Corporation as Chair, Julie Zoller of Amazon as Vice Chair and Danielle Piñeres of Planet Labs PBC as Treasurer.
“Over the past 12 months, the commercial satellite industry continued to launch record numbers of spacecraft into orbit, and this has driven increased attention from policy makers, regulators, media and more."
Tom Stroup, SAI president.
“Throughout 2022, thanks to the tremendous work of SIA, the Executive Committee and its members, the Association successfully met the lingering challenges of the pandemic, taking SIA to new levels of success while advocating for an increasingly vital and expanding commercial satellite business,” said Tom Stroup, president of the Satellite Industry Association. Once again our officers represent the broadening range of incumbent and new space businesses and diverse GEO and NGSO technologies that make up today’s satellite industry. Our 2023 Executive Committee also brings a tremendous level of industry and regulatory expertise to SIA’s leadership.
“Over the past 12 months, the commercial satellite industry continued to launch record numbers of spacecraft into orbit, and this has driven increased attention from policy makers, regulators, media and more.
