NASA and Boeing: Their Past and Future

What Will be the Impacts of the Crewed Flight Test 1

Starliner is now set to return to Earth without its crew on Saturday, the latest development in the months-long odyssey of the beleaguered program.

On this first edition of a new podcast from Ex Terra Media, Ex Terra Extra takes a deep dive into the history of Boeing and NASA, how we arrived at this stage with the Commercial Crew Program, and how the relationship between Boeing and NASA could be affected by this latest setback.

Starliner is currently expected to land under parachute and with airbag cushions at White Sands Missile Range on Saturday. Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, the two astronauts who flew to the ISS aboard Starliner, will remain on board as part of the Expedition 71 crew until February of next year.

Mike Turner and Tom Patton join forces for this podcast to discuss the long-standing relationship between Boeing and NASA, and the potential impacts to the program.

In a programming note, we intend that this podcast will become a premium offering for paid subscribers. Please let us know what you think in the comments.
