LunIR Launches to the Moon Aboard SLS on Artemis I Mission

LunIR, a Moon-mapping satellite developed by Terran Orbital Corporation, was launched to the moon Wednesday morning as part of the Artemis I mission. LunIR is the second Terran Orbital-developed lunar satellite to launch this year – the first being CAPSTONE, which recently reached lunar orbit.
