The company positions itself as a data center infrastructure and data embassy services company, with its stated mission being "Resiliency as a Service" (RaaS) for data storage. According to Lonestar's website, the company's strategic vision involves creating "Sovereign Data Embassies" that back up terrestrial data centers through a space-based data storage and communications network targeting the Moon and cislunar space.
