The company says LizzieSat-3 is a testament to its ability to rapidly scale and expand its on-orbit constellation, marking its third satellite launch in less than 12 months. The expanded constellation will enhance revisit rates, enabling Sidus to provide customers with more frequent data collection and timely insights.
Designed and manufactured at Sidus’ facility on Florida’s Space Coast, LizzieSat-3 is equipped with advanced sensor technology, including an AIS sensor, a high-resolution visual spectrum sensor and the HEO Holmes Imager. This cutting-edge payload configuration supports applications such as maritime monitoring, environmental assessments and non-Earth Imaging. LizzieSat-3 also features the next generation of Sidus’ proprietary artificial intelligence system, enabling on-orbit data processing while significantly reducing data latency.
“LizzieSat-3 demonstrates our continued innovation and agility, showcasing the scalability and adaptability of our modular satellite platform,” said Carol Craig, CEO of Sidus Space. “Expanding our on-orbit presence allows us to enhance revisit rates and provide customers with more accurate and timely data. With each mission, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering flexible, cost-effective solutions that address the diverse needs of government, defense, intelligence and commercial sectors.”
Sidus believes that the successful launch of LizzieSat-3 will further solidify its reputation as a leader in providing real-time, multi-mission data solutions. By integrating advanced sensor technology, leveraging on-orbit processing and offering data-as-a-service capabilities, LizzieSat-3 is designed to meet the evolving demands of the global space industry.
