Indian Navy To Receive Satellite Surveillance Data Under New Contract
Deal Was Folded Into Earlier $100 Million Sales Announcement, But Its Own Value and Length Were Not Disclosed
HawkEye 360 has been awarded a multiyear contract to supply the Indian Navy and regional partner nations with satellite-based radio-frequency surveillance data, according to a company news release.

The Herndon, Virginia-based company, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol HAWK, said the work will expand maritime domain awareness in the Indian Ocean region and support security cooperation across the Indo-Pacific.
The company did not disclose the contract’s value or duration. According to HawkEye 360, the award was previously included in a $100 million package of international contracts the company announced earlier this year, though the release did not specify how much of that total applies to this deal.
The contract is part of a larger Foreign Military Sales program that also includes SeaVision, a maritime situational awareness tool, and other data sources provided to the Indian Navy and regional partners, according to the company. HawkEye 360 said it will deliver daily radio-frequency signal collection and geolocation services, along with analytics support and a training program coordinated with the U.S. Navy’s Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific.
The company said the data will help India track vessels that operate with or without traditional shipboard tracking systems, complementing other sources already built into SeaVision. The contract also expands access to HawkEye 360’s RFGeo data product, which the company said will reach a growing number of partner nations under the Indo-Pacific Maritime Domain Awareness initiative. HawkEye 360 said it plans a series of workshops for the SeaVision team to speed adoption of the RF data layer.
