FLEX SR Mount Brings Starlink Wi-Fi to Cirrus SR Series Cockpits
Overhead Mounting System Pairs With Starlink Mini for In-Flight Broadband Connectivity
A new overhead mounting and power solution designed to integrate SpaceX’s Starlink Mini satellite internet terminal into Cirrus SR Series piston aircraft has been introduced by Cirrus Aircraft. The FLEX SR Mount for Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency Wi-Fi throughout the aircraft during flight without the need for an external battery pack.
“The new FLEX SR Series Mount supports the Starlink Mini to provide Cirrus owners with Wi-Fi throughout their flight.”

The product was announced April 23 at the AERO Friedrichshafen aviation trade show in Germany. It is available for late G3 through G7+ SR Series aircraft and must be purchased and installed through a Cirrus Authorized Service Center (ASC).
“The new FLEX SR Series Mount supports the Starlink Mini to provide Cirrus owners with Wi-Fi throughout their flight,” said Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus. “Our team thoughtfully integrated owner feedback to develop a seamless SR Series aircraft accessory to enable connectivity during flight.”
The FLEX SR Mount secures the Starlink Mini — a compact, portable satellite internet kit developed by SpaceX for high-speed, low-latency broadband — in an overhead position inside the SR Series cabin. The complete package includes the mount, tray, cable and power solution. An optional upgrade adds a 100W USB-C power outlet, eliminating the need to power the Starlink Mini from a separate battery.
Pricing varies by aircraft generation. The Late G3 through Early G6 Mount Package and the G7 through G7+ Mount Package are each priced at $1,600 MSRP. The Late G6 Mount Package is priced at $1,400 MSRP, and the G7+ Mount Package for serial number ASN 11111 and subsequent aircraft carries an MSRP of $1,050. Cirrus noted that final pricing may vary depending on installation requirements and regional tax rates.
The SR Series — encompassing the SR20, SR22 and SR22T — has been the best-selling high-performance single-engine piston aircraft for 24 consecutive years, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association. Cirrus delivered 691 SR Series aircraft in 2025. Standard features on the SR Series include Perspective Touch+ avionics, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) and Safe Return Emergency Autoland.
The FLEX SR Mount joins a growing line of FLEX accessories Cirrus has developed for its SR Series aircraft, extending the platform’s capabilities through modular, owner-installable or ASC-installed add-ons. Owners seeking installation can locate an authorized service center through the Cirrus website.
