André Wall has decided to step down from his position as CEO of RUAG International Holding Ltd and Beyond Gravity. The Board of Directors said in a statement that it regrets this decision, and thanks him for his great commitment and achievements for the company.
"We have also positioned Beyond Gravity well in global competition as an innovative niche provider of satellites and launch systems."

Wall will remain in his position until mid-2026. He will continue to manage the company's operations as before and will work with the Board of Directors to ensure a smooth transition and a structured transfer of knowledge.
In recent years, Wall has made a significant contribution to the strategic focus of the company. With the successful completion of the divestments of all non-space-related business units, RUAG International and Beyond Gravity have clearly focused on their role as a key global supplier to the space industry.
With the political decision to retain control of Beyond Gravity in federal ownership, Wall has decided to leave the company to pave the way for a new leader to guide Beyond Gravity in its next phase of development.
"Over the past four and a half years, together with an excellent team and the support of the owner, I have been able to profitably align RUAG International's divisions and sell them with significant results for the Swiss Confederation. We have also positioned Beyond Gravity well in global competition as an innovative niche provider of satellites and launch systems. I would now like to clear the way for the new phase. An orderly transition is important to me personally and I will be available for this until mid-2026," Wall said.
The Board of Directors acknowledged Wall's great commitment to the strategic development of RUAG International during his term of office and his successful leadership in a challenging environment. He has successfully transferred the various business units into new hands, always keeping the interests of Switzerland and its employees in mind.
"On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank André Wall warmly for his extraordinary commitment," said Rainer Schulz, Chairman of the Board of Directors. "With vision, determination and entrepreneurial clarity, he has realigned RUAG International and paved the way for Beyond Gravity as a global aerospace supplier."
The succession planning process will be initiated shortly.
