Rocket Lab Deploys Two Satellites into Different Orbits
Two satellites have been deployed into to two different orbits approximately 500 kilometers (≈310 miles) apart by Rocket Lab on its 47th Electron mission.
The capability to deploy two satellites more than 310 miles apart on the same launch is enabled by Electron’s Kick Stage, a small stage with engine relight capability to enable last-mile delivery.
