Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit Designed for Lunar Missions
The first test of the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU) spacesuit was conducted recently in NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL). Koichi Wakata, Axiom Space astronaut and Chief Technology Officer, was the first to test the new suit in the pool at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
