The Axiom Space Ax-3 mission was successfully launched from Cape Canaveral, FL Thursday, carrying the first all-European crew to the International Space Station
The Falcon 9 rocket with a Dragon capsule lifted off at 4:49 pm EST after being delayed for a day to allow additional time for teams to complete pre-launch checkouts and data analysis, including of the parachute system energy modulator.
Once docked, the Axiom Space astronauts plan to spend up to 14 days aboard the orbiting laboratory implementing a full mission comprised of microgravity research, technology demonstrations, and outreach engagements.
The Falcon 9 booster landed successfully back at the Kennedy Space Center.
