Anuvu Describes its LEO/GEO Future
For an aero- and maritime-connectivity provider to build its own satellite constellation at a time of falling transponder lease prices seems odd, but this is not the first time Anuvu, the former Global Eagle, has had unusual ideas about satellite capacity.
This is the same company that purchased an inclined-orbit satellite from fleet operator SES, concluding that the owner economics were better than continuing to lease capacity.
